Allan Colavecchia

Drums and Percussion

Hitting the pots and pans since the age of 3, Allan has been the backbone for many cover bands, where he eventually started playing in bars at the age of 16.

In 1999, he would travel to Michigan, followed by Los Angeles a year later, where he competed in drum solo competitions as well as battle of the bands representing the Ontario Conservatory of music and bringing home the championship in all categories he competed in.

In 2004, Allan’s original band Oliver Black would sign a world wide record deal with TVT records based out of New York City.  The following year, Oliver Black would relocate to Austin Texas for 9 months to tour, record a live 5 song EP in Beaumont TX, and write songs for their debut album which followed with recording later that year in Venice Beach, California with producer Michael Bienhorn (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ozzy Osbourne, Soundgarden ) and in Vancouver with the great GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Big Wreck, Rise Against).

Joining Pink Floyd Niagara in 2017, he is enjoying the experience of recreating the music of one of the biggest bands of all time.

Allan is honoured to be endorsed by Yamaha Drums, Vic Firth Drum Sticks and Sabian Cymbals.
