SUZANNE ETHIER Singing semi-professionally since 1978 in Toronto at the Fisherman's Wharf, Suzanne spent many years studying under the late Art Snider. Moving to the Niagara Region in 1987, Suzanne became involved with Garden City Productions in "Never Let Go" a tribute to the 50's, and "Just a Little Musical", a variety salute to Broadway. In 1992, she performed with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra in an original opera, "Five of Hearts" at Shaw Festival Theatre in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario, while at the same time appearing on a regular basis with Starmakers Karaoke Road Show as both a hostess/MC and live performer. In spite of her hectic schedule, Suzanne found time in 1994 to perform as lead singer of an adult contemporary musical duo called Sneak Preview who performing in various night clubs in Toronto & Hamilton as well as the Niagara Region. A couple of years later, she appeared as "Sarah Brown" in Port Colborne Operatic Society's production of "Guys & Dolls" in 1996, all the while continuing a regular engagement at the Cairn Croft Lounge in the Best Western Hotel, Niagara Falls as a professional MC for their weekly Karaoke Show. Suzanne has been 'retired' since 1997 doing only occasional
work as a professional vocalist at special events. Performing with Pink
Floyd Niagara is her "coming out of retirement" so-to-speak
with a 'bang' & loving it! |
