We are saddened to announce the passing of rock music legend Richard Wright, keyboardist and songwriter for Pink Floyd.   In the words of his close friend and band mate David Gilmour, "He was gentle, unassuming and private but his soulful voice and playing were vital, magical components of the most recognised Pink Floyd sound."  Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family.

Pink Floyd Niagara would like to thank all of our families, friends, staff, supporters, and sponsors for making our 2008 season a huge success. Plans and negotiations are underway to take the show on tour and we look forward to entertaining our fans in their hometowns.  Stay tuned for new photos and videos from the 2008 season.

Our summer season in Niagara Falls is coming to an end, and we'd like to thank our fans for a terrific two month run!  This weekend will be the LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE SHOW this season, with our final two performances Friday August 29 and Saturday August 30.  The last show will be recorded live, and we hope to see you there!

We would like to clear up misconceptions about PINK FLOYD NIAGARA and other acts playing around the Peninsula.  Questions have come in asking if we are doing shows at Zooz.  NO WE ARE NOT.  You will not be sitting outdoors on a grassy hill.  You will get 'comfortably numb' while relaxing indoors in the NIAGARA CENTRE FOR THE ARTS, a newly renovated, soft-seated air-conditioned theatre.

The equipment needed for our production requires a theatre venue, and the NIAGARA CENTRE FOR THE ARTS is our permanent home in Niagara Falls this summer (located less than 5 minutes from CLIFTON HILL and HWY 420).  PINK FLOYD NIAGARA recreates the atmosphere and experience of Pink Floyds' 1995 'PULSE' tour - 11 musicians performing over 2 full hours of music from Floyds' discography, in true quadraphonic sound with multimedia film projections and mind-blowing lighting displays.   We perform Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety every night and that's just part of the second set.  Don't miss this opportunity to see, hear and feel this music as it was meant to be experienced.

Excitement is building as Pink Floyd Niagara are now in production rehearsals for their 2008 summer show season in Niagara Falls. The venue is at the newly renovated NIAGARA CENTRE FOR THE ARTS on Epworth Circle (formerly Kingston College), and you can look forward to an even more lavish and spellbinding theatrical production all summer long! There will be a limited number of performances in July.

Pink Floyd Niagara is pleased and honoured to have been named NIAGARA ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR at the Niagara Music Awards held at the Niagara Centre for the Performing Arts in Niagara Falls, Ontario on March 25th, 2008.
